An improvement on the MSD 7AL-2 that preceded it in every way ¨C but especially in its ability to deliver over 40% more spark energy ¨C this updated ignition unit is equipped with a 2-step rev control to save your engine from over-rev damage caused by missed shifts or driveline failure.
Ideal for installation in 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder machines, it sports two terminal strips which allow for easier wiring, and a diagnostic LED over the power connections is great for troubleshooting, as it flashes only when the coil fires.
